Our Story
In 2004, a young pastor couple named Ps. Ruddy Assa and Ps. Monalisa Soejono received a divine calling to provide education services in Lembang, a subdistrict of West Bandung Regency. This vision was in line with the name of the congregation they pastored: GPDI City on a Hill. They founded Yayasan Anugerah Sempurna and opened a kindergarten named Grace Land three years later. At that time, there were no Christian schools available in Lembang, and Grace Land was the only option for Christian parents who wanted to send their children to a Christ-centered educational institution. Initially, only thirteen students enrolled during the opening term, but the number increased to thirty by the end of 2009. Even though Grace Land students were nurtured in God's truth from a young age, they had to enroll in public schools as there were no Christian schools in the area. Eventually, in 2010, the founders decided to expand their services by opening a primary and middle school. To reflect their commitment to excellent achievement in global leadership education, Grace Land changed its name to EAGLE. With the change of name, the vision also became clearer, with the hope that this institution could nurture an excellent generation that loves God and has a global perspective. For this reason, the material provided by EAGLE is based on the Bible and the character of Christ. EAGLE students are recognized as unique creations with their own characteristics and talents, which need to be identified and developed early.
Our Philosophy
Seeing each child is uniquely created by God, we believe in bringing them on a Christ-based foundation, educating them as a whole, by nurturing their spiritual, physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development. We believe that their initial school experience is very critical for them know God, how He loves them, and how He created them to love Him and one another. Our students are taught Bible principles and how to put them into action in their daily activities and relationships.
